Deadpool 2: Josh Brolin Teases Cable's Look

Clearly, there's going to be a lot of prosthetics...

After a few months of semi-rigid speculation, we now finally have a Cable for Deadpool 2, and he's already started getting prepared for the role. Josh Brolin has taken to social media to share the first pre-production shot from the insanely hyped sequel to Ryan Reynolds' excellent reboot of the character.

And by the look of it, he's going to be playing a Cable with lots of facial prosthetics, to go alongside his CGI Thanos - given the heavy duty modelling mould the art department are using to capture his likeness. So, we should be getting the same scarred visage comic book fans will already be accustomed with.

Obviously Brolin has previous playing comic book movie characters with facial scars, but hopefully Deadpool 2 will manage to avoid too many direct comparisons with the God-awful Jonah Hex.

Meanwhile, 'Pool creator Rob Liefeld has given his own backing to Brolin's casting with a sketch of the actor as the time travelling anti-hero...

Given that he's privy to the inner workings of the film production, it's probably safe to assume that we're going to be getting a pretty classic Cable look.
