Move over Avengers: Infinity War, there's a new superhero trailer in town.
The new tease for Deadpool 2 has arrived, falling - in the words of Ryan Reynolds - "somewhere between The Godfather 2 and Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights." Which one it actually veers closer to is up to you.
The highly-anticipated sequel to 2016's R-rated megahit will arrive in a couple of months, and this is absolutely our best look yet at it. The previous two trailers have, like the rest of the marketing campaign, been very much in keeping with the movie's spirit and tone, but neither the Bob Ross-inspired teaser nor the extremely meta 'Pool crashing his own trailer one have shown us much of the plot, which this new trailer certainly does.
It's packed, as you'd expect, with action, violence, gore, humour, and comic book references, and brings us more of newcomers Cable and Domino along with a few surprises. The film might be undergoing reshoots to beef some parts up with more of those two aforementioned characters and a secret cameo, but based on this trailer what they've already got is pretty damn impressive anyway.
