Deadpool: 5 Worrying Signs From The Trailer

Did Deadpool really just do the "suck it" hand gesture...?

Deadpool is one of the funniest comic book characters ever created. He deserves a movie that best reflects this, and for the most part the trailers released for his upcoming outing suggest that 20th Century Fox have got it right. There are some absolutely hilarious jokes in there, the suit looks outstanding, there are breakings of the fourth wall, some of Deadpool's best loved sidekicks are involved, it's excitingly rated R... Generally the newly released trailer is awesome. The excitement generated online is testament to that. In fact, there have been virtually no negative reactions to it at all, which is incredible given the anticipation surrounding this film. However, everyone needs to stop for a moment. The trailer isn't perfect, and there are a few concerning issues that dog these first insights into Deadpool's first starring feature. Several of these are actually from the extended trailer from Comic Con, which contains some troubling references and jokes that, while not in the HD footage, will probably end up in the film's final cut. Deadpool fans should want an anti-hero that properly represents his comic book character. The trailers provide a few clues that indicate the film may occasionally slip into a more adolescent, American Pie-style of cheesy, crude humour. Let's hope not. Here are 5 niggling concerns that arise while viewing these preview clips.
