Die Hard: 5 Ways To Redeem This Once Great Franchise

GoodDayDieHardMain

When it comes to action movies, Die Hard is one of the kings ruling supreme over the land of bullets, explosions, neat one-liners and - best of all - mayhem. The franchise has made such a huge impact over the years that countless other films have ripped off the formula, breeding many €œDie Hard in a boat/bus/etc.€ movies. As with any big hit movie, sequels were bound to follow. Each one had the unenviable task of stepping into the giant looming shadow of the original with some achieving better results than others.

The latest installment though, A Good Die to Die Hard, is easily the worst of the bunch. Not only was it unanimously panned by critics, American audiences didn€™t go for it either: as of right now, it has only made $67 million domestically, disappointing numbers for a big action movie of this size (the international audiences, however, are another story). So basically, everyone could smell this turd from the other side of the house and stayed far away.

It doesn€™t have to be this way though. If Fox Studios wants to keep pumping out Die Hard movies, they can still redeem themselves. Here are 5 ways they can do just that...
