Disney Might Be Planning An Entire Star Wars Spaceship Resort

You could get to stay in a galaxy far, far away. Well, Orlando, Florida.

We're still a couple of years away from the opening of Disney's Star Wars Land, which is coming to Disney World and Disneyland in 2019, with fresh details being revealed at Star Wars Celebration this past weekend.

Now, however, it seems that Disney might have even bigger plans for its piece of the galaxy. Not content with an entire land themed around Star Wars, they could be planning on launching a luxury starship hotel resort built around it as well. As revealed by Walt Disney World News Today (via Nerdist), a third-party survey company - Swagbucks.com - has been gauging opinion on the potential resort.

Designed to look like you're staying on a spaceship, with designs that have a definite Star Wars feel to them, the hotel (which would set you back around $900-1000 for a two-night stay) is said to offer a full Star Wars experience. This includes experiencing a two-day story set in the Star Wars universe, interaction with Star Wars characters (either as part of the story or just an observer), flight and lightsaber training, and personalised secret missions. That's on top of the room itself, all your meals, entrance tickets to Star Wars Land, and, er, robotic droid butlers.

Nothing is confirmed yet, but the survey does include a lot of concept art (you can see it in the video below), which suggests there has been a fair degree of planning even if it's someway off.
