Disney Pixar's Brave: First Clip Now Online

The brand new clip features an uninterrupted glimpse at an actual scene from the movie, coming to theaters June 22nd (US) and August 17th (UK).

Disney Pixar have released a brand new clip for Brave, coming to 2D and 3D theaters on June 22nd (US) but not until August 17th in the UK. Disney's usual policy of forcing us Brits to enjoy their biggest releases months later than our American friends sadly continues. Oh well! The brand new Brave clip features an uninterrupted glimpse at an actual scene from the movie, an archery contest to win the hand of our a fair maiden and runs two minutes and thirty seconds. Personally I always prefer these clips over trailers as nothing gives you a sense of tone, story and the style of a movie more than an actual moment from the film. Watch the brand new clip 'Prize' below and also check out the recently released new poster at the bottom of this post; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T1SBjAuMN6A Directed by Brenda Chapman and Mark Andrews, Brave features the voices of Kelly Macdonald, Emma Thompson, Billy Connolly, Julie Walters, Kevin McKidd, Craig Ferguson and Robbie Coltrane. Merida (Macdonald) is a skilled archer and impetuous daughter of King Fergus (Connolly) and Queen Elinor (Thompson). Determined to carve her own path in life, Merida defies an age-old custom sacred to the uproarious lords of the land: massive Lord MacGuffin (McKidd), surly Lord Macintosh (Ferguson) and cantankerous Lord Dingwall (Coltrane). Merida's actions inadvertently unleash chaos and fury in the kingdom, and when she turns to an eccentric old Wise Woman (Walters) for help, she is granted an ill-fated wish. The ensuing peril forces Merida to discover the meaning of true bravery in order to undo a beastly curse before it's too late.
