10. Tarantino's Gleaming Track Record
As my intro mentions, a Tarantino filmic misstep is an extremely rare phenomenon. And when the misstep is Deathproof - a movie that, while paling in comparison to other Tarantino fare, wasn't actually
that bad at all - you know you're on to a winning filmmaker. If you
get Tarantino, if you're sold on his brand of visceral, frenetic storytelling, then you'll rarely have found yourself disappointed by his steadily growing catalog of feature films. With a proven track record so incredibly, almost inhumanly strong, it's unlikely that Django Unchained will be anything less than a masterpiece and if it is, then not by much.
