Doctor Who: 10 Actors That Should Guest Star In Series 9

Who is your dream casting?

The Series 9 hype train is well and truly starting to get its wheels in motion. Fans have already been treated to a photo from filming, they've seen that some of the writers have been revealed and they've even had Steven Moffat begin his usual trolling of the fandom by suggesting that he can€™t reveal any details but that they should trust him anyway because this new series is going to be really exciting. Same old, same old. Here are 12 other things you need to know about Series 9, if you're interested. Meanwhile, there have also been some actors revealed for the first block of filming. The Dark Knight Trilogy€™s Colin MacFarlane, Being Human€™s Steven Robertson and Game of Throne€™s Paul Kaye are all set for guest appearances in the two-parter that Whithouse is writing. They join a long list of guest stars that reads like a who€™s who of British acting. These include Carey Mulligan, Ian McKellen, John Simm, Richard E. Grant, Felicity Jones (above), Suranne Jones, Andrew Garfield€ and the list could go on for pages yet. However, there are still a lot of actors who haven€™t appeared in the series and who would be a thrilling guest star. The show is now big enough to pick up seasoned TV actors and cult icons so the scope for who could appear is virtually limitless. Now is a better time than any to start speculating, so let€™s begin.

Adam Livermore hasn't written a bio just yet, but if they had... it would appear here.
