Does The Second Star Wars: Rogue One Trailer Teaser Reveal Tatooine?

New tease hits ahead of full trailer tonight.

I'm so invested in the new wave of Star Wars I'm willing to overlook modern marketing tropes that I find irritating with any other movie; Lucasfilm have just released a second teaser for the Rogue One trailer coming later on today and it's got me mighty excited. There's not all that much to it, but boy does it look good. Check it out below.

Pretty snazzy, huh? And... what's that in the shot of Krennic walking amongst assembled Imperial officers? Is that... Tatooine?!

I actually suggested this was a possibility back at Star Wars Celebration based on behind-the-scenes antics, but that blue atmosphere, rocky outcrops and wispy cloud certainly looks like the planet the farthest from the bright centre of the universe. If it is, then that surely means Rogue One will actually overlap with A New Hope, or at the very least run incredibly close to the opening; the Empire only ends up there when intercepting the already stolen Death Star plans, the MacGuffin of this film.

Of course, it could be another rocky desert planet - perhaps the home of Jedi Mecca Jedda. No doubt we'll get a better idea of which in the new trailer (and, hopefully, some Vader).
