Don't Expect To See Justice League At Comic Con

Warner Bros to concentrate on Suicide Squad and Wonder Woman instead.

Justice League Nope

If you were looking forward to seeing something of Justice League at this month's Comic Con in San Diego, you're probably going to be sorely disappointed.

Warner Bros has just released their plans for the annual tentpole event, announcing that they will be showcasing both Wonder Woman and Suicide Squad, but without any specific mention of 2017's winter release Justice League.

The official press release states that Conan O'Brien (who inevitably will be getting a new set of Funko Pop Vinyls) will host a presentation on Saturday, July 23rd focused on the studio's upcoming slate. Plus Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins will be joined by star Gal Gadot, Chris Pine and Connie Nielsen and Suicide Squad will have a healthy representation on the ground including Will Smith, Jared Leto, and Margot Robbie, as well as David Ayer.

There's still a possibility that Justice League will still be on show, just as a surprise element for attendees (it's happened before). Plus DC and Warner Bros will have two of the Justice League cast there (thanks to Ezra Miller being in attendance for Fantastic Beasts), and it's not like Ben Affleck can't swoop in for a day.

The Warner Bros slot will also include The LEGO Batman Movie director Chris McKay and star Will Arnett, plus Kong: Skull Island talent (including Tom Hiddleston), cast and crew from Fantastic Beasts and Charlie Hunnam for King Arthur: Legend Of The Sword.
