Evan Peters Hints At Another Awesome Quicksilver Scene In X-Men: Apocalypse

And no one is surprised.

Evan Peters sat down with Collider recently to discuss American Horror Story and, naturally, his role as Quicksilver in the upcoming X-Men: Apocalypse came up. Peters dropped some hints about a follow-up to the best action sequence of last year - in case you€™re still putting down mortgage payments on that rock you live under, the Time In A Bottle sequence from X-Men: Days of Future Past topped many a Best Of list at the end of 2014. Check out what he had to say below.
€œYeah, Quicksilver does his thing again, in the new film. It€™s bigger, longer and more detailed. I think it€™s an amazing sequence that they€™ve put together. Just filming it, I was like, €œOh, my god!€... Knock on wood, I think it€™s going to be a fun and enjoyable sequence for people to watch, with Quicksilver running around and doing his thing in slow-mo time."
Dodgy Ivan Ooze-makeup for Oscar Isaac aside, X-Men: Apocalypse looks pretty damn cool. Returning director Bryan Singer seemed to get his groove back on Days Of Future Past (especially with the aforementioned Quicksilver sequence) so I€™m really looking forward to seeing what he does this time around, especially with Evan Peters. X-Men: Apocalypse is released on 19 May 2016 in the UK and 26 May in the US.
