Is it really a surprise that Avengers: Infinity War is the most exciting project coming out of the Marvel Cinematic Universe in 2018? Ever since Thanos sneered at the camera after the credits finished rolling on The Avengers back in 2012, fans have been waiting for this to finally happen.
The Infinity Stones have been popping up across numerous films, Thanos has made a few appearances, and it's all been leading to this, as the MCU's biggest bad finally takes the spotlight, forcing the Avengers, the Guardians of the Galaxy, and numerous other heroes to come together to stop him. It's been a decade in the making, and at this point it's more than just the MCU's biggest singular event ever, it's a colossal and ambitious cinematic undertaking thanks to its sheer scope and amount of actors involved.
