Every Star Wars Lightsaber Duel Ranked From Worst To Best

A duel between a fan-favorite hero in his prime, and a cackling villain who can hold four lightsabers at once? Count me in.

The sequence itself is a visual wonder, and a genuine delight. Seeing Obi-Wan in such wise-cracking form is a real treat, and Grievous chews the scenery like no one else in a Star Wars film can.

What the sequence may lack in length in the lightsaber-fueled section, it more than makes up for in its second half, which features the gonzo imagery of Grievous driving a wheel to escape, as Obi-Wan pursues on a giant lizard.

The duel eventually boils down to a fistfight, which Obi-Wan (obviously) loses, before having to use a 'so uncivilized' blaster to set Grievous' heart and organ on fire. It's all absolutely bonkers, yet incredibly Star Wars.
