Final Deadpool 2 Trailer Has Infinity War, Goonies & DCEU Gags
The second coming.
With less than a month to go before its release, a new and supposedly final trailer has dropped for Deadpool 2.
The marketing for the movie has gradually peeled back the layers of its plot, and this one takes that another step further with an increased focus on the mission to protect 'The Kid' from Josh Brolin's Cable, while it also gives us our best look yet at the X-Force.
The members of the team, introduced in an audition format, include Domino (Zazie Beetz), Bedlam (Terry Crews), Shatterstar (Lewis Tan), and, er, Peter (Rob Delaney), who steals the show despite not actually having any powers.
Aside from that, there are a few scenes we've seen before, the interplay between Brolin and Ryan Reynolds looks superb, and it once again doubles down on the trademark humour established in the first movie, with some brilliant gags aimed at Infinity War (as you'd expect with Brolin in the cast), the DC universe's darkness, and even the Goonies.
Along with the trailer, tickets for the movie - which is released on May 15 in the U.K., and May 18 in the United States - are now on sale.
