Finding Dory Trailer Breakdown: 10 New Things We Learned

So that's what Dory's parents look like.

2015 was a mixed year for Pixar - they delivered one of their absolute best movies, but also had their first financial misfire, with The Good Dinosaur making only just over $300 million on a $200 million budget (not good considering marketing. 2016, however, is looking on the up. They've just scooped the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature (for Inside Out), their first in three years and have the release of a follow-up to their biggest non-sequelised film hitting in just a few months. That's right, Finding Dory, the belated sequel to Finding Nemo, Andrew Stanton's modern classic, arrives in cinemas on 17th June (in the US at least - the UK has to inexplicably wait until 29th July), and to really stoke the hype Ellen has just released a new trailer for the film on her YouTube channel. Following up the teaser from late last year, we now have a bit more of the plot and a better idea of how the movie will be structured. I'm still not 100% sold on a sequel to Nemo - I would much rather Pixar kept its focus on its original projects - and this trailer hasn't totally convinced me, but as a big fan of the original I'd be lying if I wasn't pretty intrigued. And there is a lot in this new look to pour over. Here are the ten biggest things we learned. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oddWuCHBmzA
