The first bit of concept art for the new Michael Bay Ninja Turtles film may have just been posted online.
Rapper Kid Cudi posted on his Tumblr account a sketch of a Ninja Turtle that was given to him by Andrew Form and Brad Fuller, who run the production company Platinum Dunes along with Michael Bay. The sketch was drawn by Kevin Eastman who is one of the co-creators of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Under the sketch, Cudi wrote;
An original one of a kind sketch of a unknown Ninja Turtle by one half of the creators, Kevin Eastman. A gift given to me by my homies Andrew Form and Brad Fuller over at Platinum Dunes. Hint hint mane.
When he says ”unknown Turtle”, is he dropping hints about a new turtle in the film? He also tweeted the following message which suggests that hes involved in the film in some way;
To everyone with doubts & concerns about the new TMNT reboot, trust me, there is NOTHING to worry about. Trust. Everyone will be pleased!
Cudi could be doing music for the film or maybe voicing one of the Turtles, I’m sure we will find out soon enough.
Michael Bay caused a bit of a stir last month when he said the Turtles will no longer be mutants but aliens, and by shortening the name to ”Ninja Turtles.” If this is a sketch of what the turtles will look like in the film, then there are similarities to the blocky/chunky look Michael bay is fond off. But one things for sure, it will divide fan opinion like all Bay movies do.

Oh god no.
It will be four hours long (3 and a 1/2 hours of which will be slow motion) It will also feature unneseccary explosions and zero character development.
Typical 10 minute fight scenes will be slowed down and shot at various angles to extend the footage to an hour.
I wish these people could find other ways to make money. The word “why” just keeps buzzing through my skull every time I read more updates on this idiotic endeavour. In this instance I wonder why the turtle is wielding a space battle axe. If we are all lucky this is simply an early concept and they will all end up shooting laser beams from their eyes…that sure would be neat.
Hollywod won’t be satisfied until they destroy every American citizen’s chidhood!! Looking at this concept sketch, it’s very apparent that Bay really is going to have the turtles have some relation to outer space. Eventhough he said its just an idea, looking at this sketch with a turtle in some kind of futuristic armor weilding an space axe, I’m believing that Ninja Turtles is going to be ruin, THANKS BAY!!!

Loved the original series, loved each of the old films, loved the cartoons and comics… This concept art is terrible. The whole plot is terrible, the whole freaking idea of the movie is terrible. Someone please stop Michael Bay from producing this film, sack everyone who is associated with this film.
