First Fan Reactions For Suicide Squad Call It "Amazing"
"This is the movie that should have launched the DCEU!"
Good news, DC fans, Suicide Squad is already delighting fans, according to the early reactions that have hit Twitter in the last 24 hours.
The film doesn't actually hit cinemas until August, but there was apparently a special test screening at the Century 25 Union City and XD in Union City, California. Luckily for Warner Bros, the reactions coming out of there are positive, and if you're doubting the legitimacy of them, Geoff Johns has been seen to favourite some of the tweets.
There's lots of hyperbole, inevitably, but there are some great reactions in there...
Whether or not you choose to believe all of the people on Twitter claiming to have been there (remember, there were about a million people at the first Sex Pistols show if all claims are to be believed), it's nice to see positives. Warner Bros need them.
But then this isn't the first time fan test screenings have been hugely positive, and it wouldn't be the first time they didn't match the general picture.
Let's hope there isn't as big a gap this time...
