First Look At Ant-Man In Captain America: Civil War

Scott Lang full-on chilling with Steve Rogers!

After surprisingly sitting out the recent trailer for Captain America: Civil War, we've finally got our first look at Scott Lang/Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) in the film, standing shoulder-to-shoulder with Steve Rogers. Twitter user @FilmHyp has shared a still from the film which obviously takes place following the post-credits tag from Ant-Man, wherein Falcon mentions to Cap that he "knows a guy" who can help them with their current predicament. Take a look. https://twitter.com/FilmHyp/status/674346489708208128/photo/1?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw As MCUExchange (who broke the story) note, Rogers is wearing the same top he wears in that scene from the end of Ant-Man (a different moment from the same scene was also witnessed in the trailer for Civil War), meaning that whatever's transpiring here takes place real soon after Bucky finds himself in that awkward tight spot. I can't wait to see Ant-Man mix it up with the rest of the Avengers, as he's the perfect audience surrogate. Last we saw him, Scott Lang was still terrifically unsure of himself and his abilities as a hero; going straight from his initial adventure to the big leagues will most assuredly see the former criminal completely out of his depth, which will add a real-world grounding to his interactions with heroes and legends like Iron Man and Captain America. And let's not forget, the opportunity to see Paul Rudd verbally spar with Robert Downey Jr (as the MCU's two biggest smartasses) is currently one of the best reasons to be excited about this movie. Captain America: Civil War is released in the UK on 29th April 2016 and in the US on 6th May.
