First Look At Iron Man's New Armour For Captain America: Civil War

Keep bleeding, keep keep bleeding edge...

Iron Man's new armour has been revealed in some alleged concept art for Captain America: Civil War, revealed on Instagram by Umberto Gonzalez. The next in a long line of upgrades for Tony Stark's suit, this is believed to be some variation of the 'Bleeding Edge' model. In the comics, the suit is a powerful upgrade from Extremis, one that uses nanotechnology to allow it to be stored inside Stark's body until mentally called upon. It's not clear whether the film will follow the comics in that regard, or simply borrow the design and rework the technological aspects. Even when you consider how the suit technology has progressed throughout the films, it could be considered a fairly big leap forward. In a fun case of things coming full circle, it was this look that was originally bastardised for the original Iron Man film. You can take a look at the full size image below, and let us know what you think in the comments. Captain America: Civil War, which pits Tony Stark against Steve Rodgers, is set for a US release on May 6 2016, with the UK once again getting the film a week earlier.
