Harry Potter: JK Rowling Says The Cursed Child Will Definitely Make You Cry

Excellent, more Dobby moments then.

No matter how mad you might have got when JK Rowling killed off Sirius, Dumbledore, Dobby, Fred, Tonks, Lupin... or pretty much anyone who bit the dust in the Harry Potter series, you have to concede she made you feel. Lots of times she made you feel bad, betrayed, terrified or depressed, but she also made a lot of spirits soar, hearts explode into life and imaginations run rampant. So we'll forgive her for her occasional bloodlust.

To compete with those moments, Rowling is now promising that Harry Potter And The Cursed Child will also be an emotional experience. I mean, how could it not with that title. If someone isn't going through some serious, testing times the title is a major misrepresentation. And curses do have a habit of ending in nasty ways.

Rowling took to Twitter today to confirm that she has an agenda to upset (obviously in a positive way)...

Just kidding, of course she will.
