It's been almost nine years since Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Part 1 made its way into cinemas. Directed by David Yates, the film was the first of the two-part adaptation of the seventh and final book in the Harry Potter series, and the penultimate movie in the Harry Potter movie series which started off way back in 2001.
The film takes off following the dramatic close to the previous instalment (Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince) with the death of the beloved headmaster of Hogwarts, Albus Dumbledore. Harry has left Hogwarts with a mission given to him by his fallen mentor to hunt for certain dark artefacts known as Horcruxes, which will play an extremely important part in the defeat of Voldemort.
The Deathly Hallows Part 1 grossed $960 million at the box office, making it the third highest grossing movie in the series and at one point the tenth highest grossing of all time.
