There's a new trailer online for a "creepy kid" horror movie known as Joshua starring Sam Rockwell and Vera Farmiga. The trailer which I found at Filmstalker through Movies Online you can see in the youtube video below. It's pretty much a blatant rip off from The Omen, but instead of being about the son of the devil... this movie seems to deal with the current climate of an American society which has turned this child into an evil little boy. The acting looks weak (especially that little kid who seems to be trying oh so very hard) and the way Rockwell delivers the line "where are the animals?" and the shitty musical cue that comes afterwards made me unintentionally laugh. Which is of course never good for a horror movie that's not a spoof. You can see Joshua in U.S. cinema's in July but no word of a U.K. release just yet. My advice? Rent out the original Omen, forget it's remake last year and the unofficial remake of which the trailer is below...
