Hossein Amini has been hired to write the script for the second movie in Phill Pullman's His Dark Materials series, titled
The Subtle Knife. His previous works include the scripts for
The Four Feathers and the upcoming
John Madden movie
Killshot. The first movie in the series,
The Golden Compass is about half-way through it's production schedule and of course any sequel will only happen if it's successful upon it's release in December. From most sources on the net, this is generally considered to be the weakest book in the series, so let's hope they can put a good movie together so we can get to it's meat and bones with the second and third installments.
