James Bond: 10 Greatest Animal Moments In 007 Films

2. Connery Kicks Blofeld's Cat in Diamonds are Forever

blofeld457 Cat lovers beware; this one is not for you. In Diamonds are Forever, James Bond sneaks into the penthouse of Willard White hundreds of floors up in a tall building only to discover that the Texan, White, has been replaced by none other than his greatest adversary, Blofeld. Blofeld, who he killed in the beginning of the film, apparently has more than one double. The two Blofelds, played by Charles Gray (the Criminologist from The Rocky Horror Picture Show), begin taunting Bond, finishing each other's sentences and smoking out of identical cigarette holders. One of the unforgettable white cats Blofeld is always seen with, lounges on a near by couch. When Connery has had quite enough of the double talk he kicks the cat into the arms of Blofeld number two and shoots him in the head with a grappling stake. For the second time in the movie he has dispatched the wrong Blofeld. Feel bad for the cat? Throughout the early Bond films Blofeld's cat is known to have the personality of a scorpion. Exactly like her owner, Blofeld.
