Variety is reporting that 15-time world champion John Cena - who is currently on a break from WWE in order to film season two of American Grit - has signed on to co-star in The Pact motion picture alongside familiar comedy faces Leslie Mann and Ike Barinholtz. There is no timetable for filming or release.

The Pact will feature Cena, Mann, and Barinholtz as three parents who discover that their teenage daughters have all made a pact to lose their virginity on prom night, and their subsequent attempts to stop them. It is the directorial debut of film and TV writer Kay Cannon.

Over the past couple of years, Cena's acting career has exploded. After a breakout role in Trainwreck, Cena began fielding a ton of offers. He followed up with a critically lauded turn as drug dealer Pazuzu in Sisters, which also featured Barinholtz. In 2016, Cena's American Grit, a military-themed athletic competition, debuted, and the star hosted the ESPY Awards on ABC. He's also been featured in commercials for Hefty and Wonderful Pistachios.

Despite all that, Cena has doubled down on his commitment to pro wrestling. He is expected back in the ring before the end of the year, and if he's healthy, will play a major role at WrestleMania 33.
