John Stockwell takes up a SANCTUARY
Sanctuary, based on John Connolly's novel Bad Men. The novel revolves around a mysterious woman who takes refuge on a haunted island off the Maine coast, a novel BookReporter describes as a cross between a Dennis Lehane yarn and Stephen King horror/thriller. Lionsgate and Sobini Films are co-financing from The Grudge scribe Stephen Susco script. Production is expected to begin late 2008/early 2009. source - the hollywood reporter
