Jude Law & Forest Whitaker topline Repossession Mambo

jude_law.jpgJude Law and Forest Whitaker are set to work together for the first time in the futuristic sci-fi thriller Repossession Mambo. The movie is being setup at Universal with a September start date planned says The Hollywood Reporter.
Miguel Sapochnik, a one-time storyboard artist, will make his feature directorial debut on the film, which centers on a repo man made up of artificial organs who, after receiving a heart transplant, struggles to make payments and must go on the run from his former partner.
The script for the flick is written by Eric Garcia (Matchstick Men novel) and Garrett Lerner (House M.D.) How futuristic the film will be is currently unknown. I like the idea of one big chase movie set in a futuristic setting. Something like the chase scenes in The Fugitive but in a sci-fi world could be a pretty cool idea. This is Whitaker's 8th movie we will see him in next year, talk about being a man in demand!
