Jurassic World: 9 Crazy Fan Theories (That Just Might Happen)

7. The Barbasol Can Is Important

One of the more famous scenes from the original Jurassic Park, is when programmer Dennis Nedry steals away a bunch of dinosaur embryos. They're hidden in a Barbasol can, which is dropped after he's killed by a Dilophosaurus. This can of shaving cream has been the basis of a number of fan theories, primarily that it would be the trigger for some of the events in Jurassic World. This was bolstered after director Colin Trevorrow posted an image of the original scene's famous "East Dock" sign to Twitter. Since the trailer was released, this theory has become less popular, as it's clear that there's a huge corporation behind the park, without any clear need for the shaving can embryos. Additionally, it's stated in the film that the DNA can only survive for 48 hours, making this one unlikely to exist beyond a minor easter egg.
