Unless you're one of those poor souls living in the U.S., you've probably had a chance to check out Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom over the last few days and, well, it sure is a film alright.
Scoring decidedly mixed reviews from critics, the movie is also proving polarising with fans, some of who have embraced it as a dumb schlock-fest, while others have once again expressed disappointment that the series continues to coast lazily on the goodwill of Steven Spielberg's classic original.
For better or for worse, the movie's certainly full of memorably bizarre, hilarious, ridiculous and insane moments that'll have you questioning whether this is self-aware fun or merely low-effort trash.
In the grand tradition of Jurassic Park sequels, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is basically a total mess, but how much you'll appreciate that will depend entirely upon your expectations for the franchise at this point. Either way, the next one sure will be "interesting"...
