28. Jimmy Olsen

Though Jimmy Olsen may have been summarily executed in Batman v Superman, his spirit (sorta) lives on in Justice League, as the film features a cameo from Marc McClure, who played the intrepid Daily Planet photographer in the original 1978 Superman movie.

McClure was originally supposed to appear as a cop in the Superman resurrection sequence, and was even visible in one of the film's trailers, but his role ended up being cut out when the scene was reshot.

However, McClure ultimately won a much bigger part in the final movie, playing the sarcastic prison security guard who Barry Allen meets when visiting his father.

It's a great, unintrusive cameo because it's not immediately noticeable to anyone who hasn't been following McClure's career lately, but a fun reference once you're in the know.
