7. Liam Hemsworth
Well, if Chris gets to dress up, why can't brother Liam? The baby of this list, Hemsworth has already sported roles in both
The Hunger Games and
The Expendables franchises, though his parts were rather limited. However, the actor is gaining quite the fan-base that could bring in a few skeptical fans to the superhero genre. While Liam has yet to become an "accomplished" actor, he has a gentle presence, notably one that mirrors that of the character of Barry Allen. Hemsworth would do well dressing in the red spandex (or, hopefully, armored suit) and standing next to icons like Batman and Superman. As an actor, he would need to hold his own, something already done as he walked with action giants in
The Expendables 2 (and let's not forget, he was probably the strongest actor of the bunch, save Willis), so I think fears in that respect could be put to rest. That being said, Hemsworth is not my number once choice for the role; though I do believe he could do it justice. And yes, his brother is Thor... so super-heroism"runs" in the genes.
