10. A Dream Sequence

Here he is at last. Henry Cavill has been largely absent from the marketing of this movie, appearing in some posters but not the trailers, despite the fact everyone knows he is coming back.

This trailer still refuses to divulge much on that front (and rightly so), but it does at least show us Cavill, looking like Superman dressed in civilian clothing rather than actual Clark Kent (and there is a difference).

It not only hints at his return, but it's a big reminder of the impact of his death - and apparent confirmation that we're getting another dream sequence (it really is Snyder's movie, after all). In this initial scene, though, the focus is on the loss of Clark Kent to Amy Adams' Lois Lane, which is set to be a big factor on her character - and that, in turn, will presumably factor into his ultimate return.
