Killer Klowns From Outer Space Returns To Universal's Halloween Horror Nights

Who's ready for the smell of Candy Floss, Balloon Animals and the scariest Klowns you'll ever meet?

At this week's media event, Universal Orlando announced that Killer Klowns from Outer Space will making its return to Halloween Horror Nights, this time in their very own house! The Klowns will also be going bi-coastal, with a maze at Universal Studios Hollywood.

Last year's Killer Klowns scare zone in Orlando was one of the most photographed the team have ever created and was one of the highlights from HHN28, so fans have been excitedly hoping that they will be making a return.

If you haven't seen this cult 80s horror then you are in for a real treat when you visit this maze. A group of clown-like aliens along with their circus tent arrive in the town of Crescent Cove only to cause havoc. The murderous Klowns encase their victims in cotton candy like cocoons, shoot them with ray guns and create killer shadow puppets.

Patrick Braillard, a Show Director behind the HHN29 houses gave us a glimpse into what we can expect including hints of one of the biggest scares ever created. The maze will also feature new Klowns that we didn't see at the event last year.

Killer Klowns will be a brightly coloured house so detailed that the Chiodo Brothers who made the movie commented that it could be used to film the sequel. Let's not forget all those lovely smells you associate with the circus. The scent of popcorn, ice cream and cotton candy luring you into their space ship/circus tent.

Killer Klowns from Outer Space is the 7th house to be revealed for for Orlando's event and the 6th in Hollywood. The Klowns join Stranger Things, Ghostbusters and Universal Monsters in this impressive line up.
