Unless you've been living under a giant, monster-sized rock, you may be aware of a tiny movie coming out next March by the name of Kong: Skull Island.

The second film (after 2014's Godzilla) in an intended 'monster cinematic universe', Skull Island will explore the homeland of everyone's favourite enormous ape, and will hopefully give us a clearer picture as to how exactly he and Godzilla will end up coming face to face in 2020's Godzilla/Kong showdown movie.

But before we arrive at that destination, we've got an exciting journey ahead, and Skull Island is the next stop. The second trailer for the action-adventure just recently dropped online, and it's got enough Easter Eggs, references, plot details and character moments to satisfy even the hungriest of primates - and those rabid fans, too.

So rather than skimming through the trailer multiple times yourself, sit back and relax - we've done it for you. Here are eight things you may have missed in the second trailer for Kong: Skull Island...

8. John C. Reilly's Jacket

When John C. Reilly was cast in Kong: Skull Island in 2015, it was all but a given that he'd be tasked with providing the film's comedic relief - and lo and behold, the trailer confirmed those thoughts.

And, as if you needed any more confirmation that Reilly's tongue will be firmly in his cheek for the duration of the movie, just take a look at the text spread across the back of his leather jacket: "good for your health".

Now, to most people, this line will mean nothing, but for fans of Reilly's earlier work on an Adult Swim production - called Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! - it's a nod to a character Reilly played on that show, Dr. Steve Brule.

Brule is an overly eccentric 'doctor' who would frequently provide some not-so-helpful medical advice in a segment called 'Brule's Rules'. The character is fondly remembered for his iconic catchphrase "for your health", which constitutes three of the four words found on Reilly's jacket.

The show, along with Brule, ended in 2010, but it's great to see that such an underappreciated character can live on, even in the smallest of ways.
