Lex Luthor's Evil Scheme In Batman V Superman Revealed

Extra on Dawn Of Justice reportedly lets cat out of the Kryptonite bag.

Jesse Eisenberg Lex Luthor Zack Snyder has been slowly teasing details of his follow up to the 2013 blockbuster Man Of Steel, releasing images of the stars online to stir up anticipation for the next big DC superhero movie and showing some test footage at San Diego Comic-Con. Now we might finally have some unconfirmed, unofficial, but very exciting details on what Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice will actually be about...other than fighting, obviously. According to a tip sent to Geek Tyrant the film will go some ways to setting up further sequels involving Superman - and possibly also the Justice League - because they've already filmed the ending. Let's just go ahead and point out this is a potential SPOILER ALERT for Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice, which isn't due out until March 25, 2016. Plus this is all just rumour and hearsay, so it might not even be true. The tipster in question might have been Kevin Smith in disguise or something, so just bear that in mind too.
According to an extra who briefly worked on the Detroit set, the film will end with Batman breaking into Lexcorp to steal some Kryptonite only to find they don't have any - but they do have the dead body of General Zod, whom Supes broke the neck of to save Metropolis at the end of Man Of Steel. Remember that? That was weird. As fans have been speculating, the same extra says the film picks up immediately after the events of that film, with Bruce Wayne making his way to Wayne Tower in the ruined city. At Comic-Con Snyder presided over the Warner Bros panel and showed a sneak peek of some footage, and there's been a lot of speculation about how other characters due to appear - Lex Luthor, Wonder Woman, Cyborg, Aquaman - get involved, but nothing confirmed. So we haven't spoiled the whole thing for ourselves, but we also have an inkling that Jesse Eisenberg's Luthor might want to use Zod to bring about Doomsday...
