Mad Max: Fury Road - 20 Easter Eggs, In-Jokes & References

When Max is designated as a useful universal blood donor and imprisoned to be used as a "blood bag" for War Boy Nux (Nicholas Hoult), his untouchable status doesn't protect him for some unpleasant treatment.

As part of his torture, the War Boys mark Max with an encyclopedia of classifying characteristics - like a grim ingredients list - that includes mention of multiple scars, his being "hi-octane" and his status as an O Negative Universal donor.

There's also a reference to his former cinematic glories as the tattoo includes "Road Warrior", as well - thankfully - as "genitals intact".
