At this very moment in time, it’s unclear exactly what Warner Bros. are planning to do with the DC film continuity in the lead up to their massively anticipated Justice League movie.
Initially, director Zack Snyder had expressed that Man of Steel would not be connected the the Justice League and would stand alone, much like Nolan’s Dark Knight franchise. But recently, it was reported that Warner Bros. may now looking to establish some kind of larger, over-riding universe within this newest Superman adventure.
So far, the only named character we’ve heard may be being considered to cameo in Man of Steel is Wonder Woman, however reports are now indicating that Warner Bros could be looking to get more references and cameos in there in an attempt to try and replicate the unprecedented success of their life-long rivals Marvel with The Avengers.
Conversely, nothing has been fully set in stone, and there are literally no solid details as to who will feature, in what capacity or even whether anyone will feature at all. However, with the recent online speculation that the Justice League movie may possibly be on us as early as 2015, it’s looking more and more likely that Warner Bros. will look to capitalise on the Man of Steel’s release to aid them in establishing a larger DC continuity.
All this buzz has ineviatbly gotten my brain going. So here are ten ways the Justice League could easily be included into the Man of Steel.

Good read, agree with all the points
That Darkseid idea would seem like a rip of The Avengers Thanos post credit cameo. But good list overall.
DC will get a lot of money wiith a movie like Batman\Superman, if they get a good director and cast i can tell you it will be the best superhero movie and DC want to make that, because in the movie with will smith, i am legend you can see an ad you can see the superman shield and the bat in times square.
whatculture.com/film/the-dark-knight-saga-10-reasons-why-it-is-the-perfect-trilogy.php/10…..@ Stuart, that’s how you write a good article. You should learn from that, and maybe then you’d stop writing random drivel (read the comments too).
*Sniff sniff* Is that Chris Nolan’s bum I can smell?
J’onn J’onzz would only be involved if they did the classic Justice League line-up. DC’s New 52 Justice League replaced him with Victor Stone (AKA Cyborg). Who was a high school senior who visited his father in a lab (could be S.T.A.R. Labs) and got caught in an explosion, causing his father to fuse him with the Cyborg armor! And in today’s age of technology, Cyborg can hack/access any computer in the world & talk to all the Leaguers via their in-ear piece communicators!
With the huge disappointment that the Green Lantern movie turned out to be I say they should use GL John Stewart for the Justice League movie. As a black fanboy I would love to see a great black superhero like Stewart to not only get in on this current superhero craze but more importantly get some exposure to the younger kids and show them that there are superheroes of different races as well. Besides Rhodes, Fury, Heimdall, Hogun, and recent news of The Falcon appearing in the next Cap. America movie their seems to be some kind of “bare-minimum of super-minorities” in this current Marvel-verse in comparison to the white ones, and I guess I’m the only one that was under the impression that Maria Hill was of Latino descent and was kinda bummed to find out that they cast a Canadian to play her. Couple that with the way Marvel seems to be dragging their feet on putting together a Black Panther movie, and DC could see a lot a praise coming there way with the inclusion of John Stewart. Another great selling point for Stewart is there seem to be more than a few people that were upset that the GL movie was about Hal Jordan and not John Stewart, it seems that the Justice League animated series from Cartoon Network was their introduction to the Green Lantern character.
No, they should do Hal Jordan. I’m black. But in the comics there is actually a strong, brotherly friendship between Hal Jordan and Barry Allen. They’ve got to explore this in a JL movie. For JLA, I know it’s Star Trekky, but they just need Martian Manhunter played/voiced by a black guy. I actually don’t really like these 10 ways to include JL in Man of Steel. They’re too over the top stuff that clearly won’t happen. Like having Clark INTERVIEW Bruce Wayne. Really? Having Wonder Woman put on her costume. You serious? Having Superman rescue Martian Manhunter and he reveals his powers. This isn’t Smallville where everyone gets their episode. Man of Steel, while it should connect, isn’t a Justice League movie. It’s a Superman movie. So they aren’t going to FOCUS on setting up the team in this movie. Any references will be subtle references, like maybe a reference to Wayne Enterprises or Gotham or Central City or a story about the Amazon, or a slight reference to “John Jones” or something like that. No cameos. The ONLY possible cameo would be Superman rescuing a Navy Pilot (since Clark either joins the Navy or simply interacts with Navy Seals). There’s some scene in a trailer of him on an aircraft carrier, so he could rescue a pilot by the name of Jordan. The pilot would be masked, so no visible face. THAT is the only possible reference that’s okay for this movie. Everything else seemed kinda outlandish and an attempt to mirror Avengers. Yes, these things would get ultra fans excited, but wouldn’t work for a movie. I’m sure fans would love to see a direct translation from comic books to the movies, complete with red underwear and black underwear, skin tight costumes, and everything. But Man of Steel will also be grounded in some sort of reality. And, honestly, ideas like Superman vs Batman on screen is just stupid. Why would you even have an end-credits scene where Batman is already viewing Superman as his enemy? They are supposed to be a team. They don’t need to fight like Thor, CapAm, and IronMan fought in Avengers. DC does NOT need to copy Avengers. Justice League (and it should be titled Justice League, not Justice League of America) should be more grounded in reality (that doesn’t mean no aliens or superpowers, it means connected to a very real Earth, kinda like Iron Man 1, kinda like Man of Steel) than Avengers, and definitely more serious. Not as dark as TDK, but definitely close in seriousness. IF Henry Cavill will be returning for JL, then he needs to have the same costume, but maybe a little more red, idk. Batman needs to be similar in appearance to TDK trilogy’s batman. Why? Because it’s realistic, and Batman especially needs to be pragmatic, practical, grounded, especially as the only hero without superpowers. That means he needs to be armored, for protection. His “suit” needs to be body armor (like in TDK/TDKR), not a costume (like all the other incarnations of batman, including the comics). It should be streamlined, the armor plates closer fitting to the body; the color should be similar to the classic colors, so black cape, cowl, gloves, boots, dark gray armor plates (not too bright, it can’t stand out too much from the black cape and cowl), the bat symbol can be more like the classic symbol, having gold and black coloring. I like the actual TDK bat symbol itself. They could put that in a gold oval. The belt needs to be gold, like TDK belt. Batman needs to act more like the classic batman, more of a detective, but realistic, not acting like a superhero, just like a symbol, kinda like Batman’s reason for being batman in TDKR. But he’s not some depressed guy who spends his time moping over his dead girlfriend. Main thing is look and feel. JL and it’s characters need to look and feel like Nolan’s Batman and Superman. Character-wise, Nolan’s Batman couldn’t fit with Superman or other JL characters. But visually, yes it could. Yeah, I know most people don’t like the TDK batsuit, but it’s a practical suit. Streamline it, make it closer fitting, but it’s something Batman can move in, not some huge bulky costume. And it isn’t just a normal costume. So that Batman isn’t vulnerable. This would make a great LOOKING JL movie. Character-wise they’re like the comics, but visually it nods to Nolan’s/Snyder’s realistic looking Dark Knight and Man of Steel movies.
If they’re in post, it seems unlikely they’d start shooting new scenes just for the cool factor, and it would be SO cool, but a reference would be great. In Lois and Clark, Martha Kent referred to, “That lunatic in Gotham City!” Something like that would be great.
I thought Batman did the whole post credits thing when they talked about the Joker in Batman Begins?
I thought DC COMICS did it first with the Joker reference at the end of Batman Begins.
