Mandy from Hollyoaks would 'wet herself' in front of Batman

British actress Sarah Jayne Dunn confirms she has joined the cast of The Dark Knight.

Hollyoaks star Sarah Jayne Dunn who I can guarantee no-one outside the U.K. will have ever heard of, really does have a role in The Dark Knight. The actress sounding rather elated, told Liverpool Daily Post (via Batman on Film) how it feels to be in her first ever blockbuster movie...

"I am so excited. The audition came up about three months ago and I was just made up that they would even see me. As with any audition you do it and then you have to not think about it. If you hear you hear, if you dont you dont. I assumed nothing had come of it because I didnt hear anything. Then I found out a couple of weeks ago and I just went: Omigod! "I know that I am in it...I know that I am working with Eric Roberts...and that is as much as I know. They are being very secretive because they dont want leaks." I would love to . God, if I got on set and Batman was there I would just wet myself."
Eric Roberts. Ah, that might reveal something then about her role and it probably won't be that of Harley Quinn like AICN suggested, playing Devil's Advocate. Roberts will be playing big crime lord Sal Maroni in The Dark Knight, so if she is doing scenes with him then the chances are it will be 'the girl on his shoulder' or something of that type. How many scenes or lines of dialogue she will get is anyone's guess but she sure sounds excited about it, so maybe she's in every scene with Roberts. Can't say I was ever impressed by her acting in Hollyoaks but she did make a good name for herself in her ten years there with mediocre writing material. She left the soap earlier this year and soon got involved with a feature movie co-starring with a hobbit and Superman known as The Best Years and now she finds herself with a role in a big Batman production. Well if she messes these two roles up, then I guess she will be back in Hollyoaks before ya know it.
