2. Proxima Midnight
Appearing In: Avengers: Infinity War
The third member of the Black Order to watch out for this year is Proxima Midnight, who - at least in the comics - is the wife of fellow member Corvus Glaive. Unsurprisingly, she's incredibly dangerous, with enhanced strength, speed, and durability, and is armed with a powerful spear created by Thanos.
Like Cull Obsidian and Ebony Maw, what Proxima's role is in Infinity War beyond simply working for Thanos is something fans have had to piece together with what little information we've been given. As seen in the trailer, we know that she'll come into conflict with Captain America, as she throws the spear that he catches before emerging from the shadows.
Beyond that, she's undoubtedly by Corvus Glaive's side as the two best Vision and attempt to take the Mind Stone from his forehead, and his defeat only underscores how strong the two villains are. We have yet to see how powerful her spear's abilities are, but that coupled with her inherent power are going to make her quite the formidable foe for characters like Cap, Black Widow, and Falcon, who seem to be facing off against her together, proving that Proxima Midnight is just one more reason to get excited for the Black Order's introduction.
