15. Thor Thinking He Could Get Through To Destroyer - Loki (Thor)
When Thor was banished to Earth, in mortal form, the Warriors Three came to Earth to attempt to return him from his exile due to their discontent at Loki's ruling of Asgard. Upon learning of their plans, Loki sent the Destroyer Armour to pursue them. The trio attacked it, but failed to stop it, and it began to destroy the small New Mexico town in which it had appeared. Thor, thinking he could get through to Loki - who was using his essence to control it and could see through its eyes - approached the armour and attempted to reason with Loki. It was brave, but foolish of the vulnerable Asgardian to assume that he could get through to his adopted brother when he was blinded by his lust for power, and he paid by receiving a punch from the armour, which would have killed him had his bravery in confronting the armour not been an act worthy of reclaiming Mjolnir.
