15. Red Skull Returns - Avengers: Infinity War

The Prediction

Having been "disintegrated" by the Tesseract in Captain America: The First Avenger, it turns out that Red Skull isn't actually as dead as he first appeared.

As with victims of certain of the Infinity Gems in the comics, Red Skull was merely absorbed by the Stone and sent into the universe within it, to wait until he's unleashed.

The Implications

We already know there were plans to bring Red Skull back, so this would fit. And it would provide Thanos with an incredibly powerful lieutenant (especially if the stone has imprinted on him) for his Infinity War - or a possible antagonist for Captain America 4 if the Nazi supervillain goes off on his own.
