In the wake of James Gunn's firing from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 - the film that, along with Spider-Man: Far From Home, was meant to launch a whole new era of the MCU - it's clear that Phase 4 is set to undergo a recalibration of sorts.

Both that film and the sequel to Spider-Man: Homecoming were the only two projects confirmed by Disney, and though the likes of Black Widow and Doctor Strange 2 will surely follow, Marvel Studios' slate from 2019 onwards is still a mystery that probably won't be answered until the dust has settled on Avengers 4.

But, ignoring for a second all the logistics that prevent certain projects from gathering steam, whether that be the divide between Marvel TV and Marvel Studios stopping our beloved Daredevil from breaking out into the big screen, or the pace of the Disney-Fox merger slowing the implementation of the X-Men and Fantastic Four, what should Marvel include in their fourth phase?

With the Marvel mythos presenting endless opportunities for fresh and exciting stories, here are the films they should look to include ASAP.
