With 2013's Iron Man 3, the Marvel Cinematic Universe kicked off its big Phase Two, which featured sequels, introductions to new heroes, and, of course, another big Avengers film before wrapping up with Ant-Man in 2015. Along the way, our heroes continued to do battle with all sorts of villains, some of whom resurfaced from Phase One, many others making their big debuts.
Like Phase One before it, Phase Two featured a total of six films that continued the franchise's incredible growth, taking the characters at the franchise's core - and the audiences invested in their journey - down a road that culminates later this month as Phase Three wraps up as the Avengers and Thanos go head to head yet again.
