In case you needed confirmation, the Millennium Falcon is definitely going to appear in the as yet unnamed Episode VIII.

Twitter account Star Wars Direct has posted some shots of the Falcon photos on the film's Pinewood Studios set in Buckinghamshire, also showing what appears to be a rebuild of the Skellig Michael location that saw Rey meet Luke Skywalker at the end of The Force Awakens.

So it would seem that Pinewood has rebuilt at least part of the planet Ahch-To including a new detail in the shape of the massive decaying tree at the top of a large flight of steps.

Presumably that's going to be part of Luke's abandoned Jedi School.

There's also some shots of an unknown space port among the images.

The landed Falcon also suggests that we're going to see a reunion between Luke and Chewie after his initial meeting with Rey.
