Monsters University: Two New Images Revealed

Two new images have emerged for Pixar's first ever feature film prequel, Monsters University. Entertainment Weekly debuted the new stills for the film, coming to 3D and 2D theaters on June 21st. The film once again focuses on Mike Wazowski and James P. Sullivan, though this time from their earlier days studying at Monsters University. The inseparable pair we know from Monsters Inc. didn't start out as friends and the film will explore how these two mismatched and monsters who couldn't initially stand each other, became unlikely life-long best friends. Monsters University once again features the voices of Billy Crystal and John Goodman in the leading roles, with Steve Buscemi (reprising Randall Boggs), Dave Foley, Julia Sweeney, Joel Murray and Peter Sohn also lending their voices. Dan Scanlon makes his feature film debut, taking over from Monster's Inc. helmers Pete Docter, David Silverman and Lee Unkrich. The original film made over $500 million worldwide in 2001 ($255 million domestically) from a budget of $115 million.
