Mr. Orange thinks it's wise to go up against Mr. Green!

ghghgh.jpgVariety are reporting that Tim Roth is set to play a villain in THE INCREDIBLE HULK. It's said he will take on the role of Emil Blonsky, aka Abomination. You may remember back in February, director Louis Letterier told us Blonsky would be the lesser of two villains in the movie. It's another casting move for the flick that comes straight out of left field. For this movie, they have clearly gone for "actors" first as opposed to finding people who look like their comic book counterparts and forming the role around the source material.

Blonsky is a KGB agent who deliberately exposes himself to the gamma rays that caused Bruce Banner to morph into the Hulk. Blonsky has upped the dosage, making him larger and stronger than the Hulk, but unable to change back to human form. He blames Banner for his problem, and makes his best efforts to destroy the Hulk.
So unless Letterier was lying back in February, we still await the news on who will be bagging the role of the main villain. The character of which we understand to be "Thunderbolt" Ross, the daughter of Liv Tyler's character Betty Ross who is a U.S. military officer and is determined to destroy the big green monster. The movie is expected to be released June 13th 2008, with Edward Norton playing the lead role of Bruce Banner/The Incredible Hulk.
