Ant-Man and the Wasp's release date is a curious thing, with the movie coming after Avengers: Infinity War, but the events of the movie taking place BEFORE that movie happened.

For a long time fans have been wondering exactly when it takes place in the timeline, and a new TV spot has confirmed that it's set around the same time as the universe-halving blockbuster, likely just before what goes down with Thanos.

In the new spot, titled War, the question of 'Where is Ant-Man?' is asked, suggesting a connection to the movie, before it's revealed that Scott has been under house arrest for two years, taking him up to Infinity War's timeline. And since that close connection does exist, but the movie is still placed after Infinity War in terms of release, then there has to be something bigger in there to join the dots up.

A popular theory is that the Quantum Realm has a big part to play in Avengers 4 and bringing the heroes back, while there's also a good chance we'll see someone (most likely Hope) disappear at the end of this movie - maybe even just in the post-credits scene - to setup Ant-Man's involvement in that movie.

Are you excited for Ant-Man and the Wasp? How do you think it'll connect to Infinity War and Avengers 4? Let us know down in the comments.
