New GREEN LANTERN Trailer Still Suffers From Unfinished CGI

Warner Bros have released the second trailer for Green Lantern and whilst I enjoy the grandeur and the epic nature of the story on display, the fundamental problem with the film is still going to be the CGI and that incredibly fake looking effect suit covering Ryan Reynolds' body. WB are clearly concerned about it too. Variety reported last week that the studio had fronted another $9 million to the budget to improve the special effects of the film and to make sure it hits the June 17th release date complete. Every single trailer WB have released for Green Lantern so far has been met with fanboy anguish against the visual effects and whilst they do seem to be improving with every new ad, there's still so much here that looks unfinished. And well, we now know it's not but I guess this is to be expected as the filming to release window keeps shrinking for blockbusters with every passing year.
