The tracklisting for the Suicide Squad soundtrack was revealed last week and it told us a lot about what to expect from the film; in keeping with Jared Leto's tattooed Joker, it's going for a 90s emo vibe, which sounds naff until you consider that the trailers suggests that David Ayer is owning that vibe.

Following up from the announcement, we've got the film's first music video, for twenty one pilots' Heathens (no word yet on if the music's in the film or not). It's not really a great song, but it fits what the movie's going for, so I'll take it. What's really noteworthy about the video that it shows us some more footage from the film, mainly in the Belle Reve Penitentiary where the team is housed at the start of the movie. There's some more of Harley Quinn being removed from her Hannibal Lecter cell and a little bit of action later on.

Most notable, however, is the opening, which establishes the prison from the air. It's not clear if this is movie footage or something specifically made from the video, but I'm inclined to say the former as it's a lot of effects faff otherwise. And if that's the case, then it's a taste of Ayer's approach to the visuals outside of quick action shots.
