New Spectre Trailer Is Awesome (And Pretty Much Confirms A Big Fan Theory)

So that's who Christoph Waltz is playing.

Is Christoph Waltz Blofeld? We still don't know, but it's certainly seeming that way - just look at that jacket he's wearing in the brand new trailer. Everyone's been expecting the two-time Oscar winner to play the head of terrorist conglomerate Spectre since he was first rumoured to play the villain in the new 007 film, and every development - the film being called Spectre, him being the leader of the film's organisation, - has backed that up. Sam Mendes and co. have obviously been trying to play it down, reaffirming he's simply playing the contextually-cool Franz Oberhauser, but with that jacket (a modern update of the classic get up Ernst Stavro), the cat is definitely off the lap (unless Andrew Scott's Denbigh is the real villain, but that's a theory for another day). Yes, a new trailer (the first full one after a run of teasers, TV spots and behind-the-scenes featurettes) for Bond 24 has dropped, and it's pretty awesome. There's lots of new footage from the film's international shoot and the broad outlines of a plot - like every other 21st Century Bond (seriously, they pulled this is Die Another Day, Casino Royale, Quantum Of Solace and Skyfall), we're going to have 007 working slightly apart from MI6, this time uncovering his past and leading him to an engineered clash with the nefarious villain corp. There's a lot more hidden in there than just the Blofeld "confirmation" though. Check it out for yourselves below and let us know what you thought down in the comments. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LTDaET-JweU Spectre is released on 26th October 2015 in the UK and Ireland, and 6th November 2016 in most other territories, including the USA.
